Knitting and Crochet..
My first real hobby was crochet. I almost 30 years ago while helping to take care of my Grandmother-in-Law. She was a crocheter and was in awe of the size 12 steel crochet hook and thread she used to create beautiful rose doilies. Since then I've made baby blankets, afghans, doilies, table cloths, and so many more projects. I love yarn and fibers! Years ago I found a pattern in a magazine that was so beautiful! It was an afghan that looked like a quilt. I made one and started another. But, the pattern disappeared and I have no idea where it went. I have a partially finished project, and I probably can't even get the yarn anymore. But I decided it was a nice enough pattern I would take some pictures and post the unfinished project. I love this afghan! I plan to write up a pattern here soon. Anyway, this is what it looks like:
if anyone recognizes this pattern and wants to Leave a comment as to who it belongs to, or where it came from, I'd be very grateful!

It looks kind of like a window pane also, the way the colors play
against one another. very pretty.
If you write a pattern I would love to have a copy for the shop.
If you ever find the time to teach crochet, I would love to have you teach at the shop. I do have crocheters who would love to learn.
I would love to teach a class. But when would I ever have time?? Although I do have a scrapbooking class for you! Its not until November, but its a MyBook.. personal organizer. Its awesome!
